The issuance and management of the Qatari Riyal are overseen by the Qatar Central Bank. Currently, circulating banknotes include denominations of 1, 5, 10, 50, 100, and 500 Riyals, along with coins of 1, 5, 10, 25, and 50 Dirhams. The Dirham is the subsidiary currency of the Qatari Riyal, with 1 Riyal being equivalent to 100 Dirhams.
