The Manat (AZN) is the official currency of Azerbaijan, and it has been in circulation since 1992. It is represented by the ISO 4217 code AZN, and its symbol is commonly denoted as ₼. The subunit of the Manat is the Qəpik (sometimes spelled as Qepik), where 1 Manat equals 100 Qəpik. Currently, there are banknotes in denominations of 1, 5, 10, 20, 50, and 100 Manats, along with coins in values of 1, 3, 5, 10, 20, and 50 Qəpik.
