Botswana Pula

The Botswana Pula (BWP) is the official currency of Botswana and has been in circulation since 1976. In recent years, it has also been used in Zimbabwe. The subsidiary currency of the Pula is called Thebe, where 100 Thebe equals 1 Pula. It is represented by the ISO 4217 code BWP, and its symbols include P or BWP. Currently, there are banknotes in denominations of 10, 20, 50, 100, and 200 Pula, along with coins in values of 1, 2, 5 Pula, and 5, 10, 25, 50 Thebe.
