Ghanaian Cedi

The Ghanaian Cedi is the official currency of Ghana and has been in circulation since 2007. Its ISO 4217 code is GHC, and it is commonly represented by the symbol GH₵. The issuance and management of the Ghanaian Cedi are the responsibility of the Bank of Ghana. Currently, there are banknotes in denominations of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, and 200 Cedis. Additionally, there are coins in values of 1 and 2 Cedis.
