The Croatian Kuna used to be the circulating currency of Croatia, introduced in 1994. Its ISO 4217 code is HRK, and it was commonly represented by the symbol kn. However, as of May 2022, Croatia passed legislation to join the Eurozone, and as of January 1, 2023, the Euro officially became the primary currency in circulation in Croatia. As a result, the Kuna has exited the stage of history.
