Moroccan dirham

The Moroccan Dirham (MAD) is the official currency of Morocco, first issued in 1960. It is identified by the ISO 4217 code MAD and is commonly represented by the symbols د.م. or DH. The issuance and management of the currency are overseen by the Bank Al-Maghrib, the central bank of Morocco. Currently circulating Moroccan Dirham banknotes include denominations of 20, 50, 100, and 200 Dirhams, along with coins of 1, 2, 5, and 10 Dirhams. Local money changers in Hong Kong currently do not support the buying and selling of Moroccan Dirham.
