Ukrainian hryvnia

The Ukrainian Hryvnia (UAH) is the official currency of Ukraine, first introduced in 1996. It is identified by the ISO 4217 code UAH and is commonly represented by the symbol ₴. The National Bank of Ukraine is responsible for issuing and managing the Ukrainian Hryvnia. Currently, circulating Ukrainian Hryvnia banknotes include denominations of 20, 50, 100, 200, 500, and 1000 Hryvnias, along with coins in denominations of 1, 2, 5, and 10 Hryvnias, as well as 10 and 50 kopecks. The kopeck (kopiyok) is the subunit of the Hryvnia, with 100 kopecks equal to 1 Hryvnia. Local currency exchange shops in Hong Kong currently do not support the buying and selling of the Ukrainian Hryvnia.
