The Thai Baht (THB) is the official currency of Thailand, first introduced in 1897. It is identified by the ISO 4217 code THB and is commonly represented by the symbol ฿. The issuance and management of the Thai Baht are overseen by the Bank of Thailand, the central bank of Thailand.
